In the laboratory, median nerve stimulation reduced tic frequency and intensity and premonitory sensorimotor urges to tic.
Tourette syndrome (TS) is a neuropsychiatric disorder marked by involuntary tics, often associated with premonitory urges. Current treatments, including medications and psychological interventions, are often inadequate.
